Beach Day ArcadeWhat is Sketchpad Arcade?
Sketchpad Arcade is a collection of 41 free, original browser games drawn to look like a page from a kid's sketchbook, made by Restless Faith Media LLC, a small independent studio in Pensacola, Florida. Everything here is built to be played in a browser on a phone, tablet or computer, with nothing to install and no account to make. Your scores and progress are saved on your own device.
The games fall into 3 groups: Arcade, Puzzle, Word. Arcade games are the quick ones about timing and reflexes, puzzle games are about thinking a few moves ahead, and word games are about spelling, guessing and sorting. Each game has its own page with a short guide on how to play, the controls, a few tips and a note on how it was made, so you can see what a game is like before you press play.
Most of the games began as pencil-sketch twins of the painted games on our sister site, Beach Day Arcade, and the site has started adding games of its own. We are a family studio, and the first question about every game is whether we would want our own kids playing it: no violence beyond a cartoon bonk, nothing scary, no gambling mechanics and no chat with strangers. You can read the full list on the About page, and see how a game gets from an idea to the New This Week row in how we choose games.
