How to play

  1. Tap any bright tile on the pile to move it into your tray at the bottom.
  2. Get three of the same doodle in the tray and they clear away for points. Clear trios quickly one after another for a combo.
  3. Dark tiles are covered by tiles on top. Clear the tiles above them first.
  4. Clear every tile from the pile to finish the level. If all 7 tray spots fill up without a trio, the level is over and you can try it again.
  5. Each level has more tiles, more kinds of doodles and taller stacks.

Controls

  • Tap or click a tile to move it to the tray.
  • Undo puts your last tile back on the pile. Lift moves 3 tiles from your tray up to a holding spot, and you can tap them back in later. Shuffle mixes up the doodles on the pile. You get one of each every level.
  • The ? button shows the rules and lets you continue from your last level or start a new game.

Tips

  • Before you tap, look at what's already in your tray and pick a tile that matches it.
  • Uncover the tall stacks early so the dark tiles don't trap you at the end.
  • Save Lift for when your tray has 5 or 6 tiles. It frees up room right away.
  • Your level is saved, so you can come back later and carry on.

About Margin Match

Margin Match is a tile-matching puzzle in the style of the popular triple-match games, piled high with sketchbook doodles. Tiles are stacked in overlapping layers, and only tiles with nothing on top can be picked. Tap one and it hops into a seven-slot tray; collect three of a kind and they clear.

Clearing the whole pile with a seven-slot tray takes a little planning, because grabbing two of something you cannot finish is the fastest way to run out of room. The pencils, paperclips and other doodles are our own drawings, and your level is saved so you can come back to it.
