About Sketchpad Arcade
Sketchpad Arcade is a collection of 41 free browser games made by Restless Faith Media LLC, a small independent studio in Pensacola, Florida. Every game is drawn to look like a page from a kid's sketchbook: dark pencil outlines on paper, with bright coloured pencil inside. They are built to be quick to pick up, pleasant to look at and clean enough for the whole family. The site opened on October 8, 2026.
Who makes it
Sketchpad Arcade is run by a dad of four who has worked as a graphic designer for twenty years and makes games in the evenings. The site grew out of Beach Day Arcade, our site of bright, painted beach games. We redrew one of them in pencil, as if a ten-year-old had copied it into a sketchbook, liked it so much that we wanted a whole site that looked that way, and here it is. Most games here started as sketch twins of a Beach Day game, and the site has begun adding original games of its own.
What you can expect
- Games that run in your browser on a phone, tablet or computer, with nothing to install.
- No accounts or sign-ups. Your progress and best scores are saved on your own device.
- No violence beyond a cartoon bonk, nothing scary, no gambling mechanics and no chat with strangers.
- Original characters, art and word lists, all drawn by hand. We borrow mechanics, because a bubble shooter is a bubble shooter, but never another game's name, art or text.
- A short guide on every game page: how to play, the controls, a few tips and a note on how the game was made.
- New games added regularly. The New This Week row on the home page shows what just arrived.
How a game gets here
New games start on a private preview where we play them, usually with the kids, for a few days. Most get changes, some get sent back, and the ones that stick around get their own pencil cover before they go live. We write about the ones that make it, and the thinking behind them, on the news page.
Ads
The games are free to play and always will be. To keep them that way we may show a small number of ads on the game pages, never inside the games themselves and never ads that would be out of place on a family site. Our privacy policy explains what that means for you.
