Doodle Darts

A fast one-tap darts game drawn in pencil on a sketchbook page. Your aim drifts left, right, up and down over a sketched dartboard. Tap at the right moment and your dart smashes the target to pieces, then a new one pops up somewhere else. Hit the gold star for a bullseye, build combos, and see how many doodled desk friends you can beat.

How to play

  1. Watch your aim drift over the target. Tap when it's on the target to throw. Every hit is worth a point.
  2. Hit the gold star in the middle for a Bullseye. Bullseyes in a row build a combo worth more and more points.
  3. Miss the target and you lose a dart. You have 3. Never hit a spiky blob, or your game is over.
  4. Smash the big bonus gold stars when they appear for extra points and coins.

Controls

  • Tap or click anywhere on the page to throw. On a keyboard, press Space.
  • The turtle button slows your aim for 5 throws and the target button makes the target bigger for 5 throws. Each costs 25 coins.
  • Use the Shop on the start screen to spend coins on new backdrops and new things to throw, like a feather or an ice pop.

Tips

  • Your aim speeds up as your score climbs, so save the Slowpoke power-up for later in a run.
  • Coins come from every hit, with bullseyes and big bonus gold stars paying the most.
  • Out of darts? Keep playing for 50 coins gives you one more dart, once per game.
  • Beat Pencil, Eraser, Crayon and the rest of the doodled desk friends on the way to the Backpack.

About Doodle Darts

Doodle Darts is a one-tap timing game that we built to be played in short bursts. Your aim never stops moving over the target, so the whole game lives in the moment you tap. Hit near the centre and the target shatters; hit the gold spot for a bullseye and a combo boost.

A row of opponents each has a score to beat, and knocking them off one by one gives the game a sense of progress beyond the raw number. It is easy to learn in ten seconds and hard to put down, which is exactly what we were after.
